About Sound Health

Free Concert at Towne Square, Sept 2011- Alex Meine, Guitar & Leah Kettelkamp, Violin
The goals of Sound Health are to contribute to a healing environment; to give music students community service opportunities; and to break down the "fourth wall" barriers, connecting musicians to their audiences and vice versa. Undergraduate, graduate, faculty, and alumni musicians from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Music perform a free, weekly series of concerts at University of Wisconsin Hospital.

Inaugural Sound Health Summer Series

The inaugural 2012 Summer Series was  generously underwritten by the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics (UWHC) and  CEO Donna Katen-Bahensky. The series gave UW-Madison School of Music students and alumni the opportunity  to continue volunteering and performing professionally throughout UWHC.
